You have to be joking? Olaf Falafel

The joke that you loved but no one else did?

I did a bit about how Bakewell tarts look like clowns without eyes (the white face and red nose) but it was obviously much funnier in my head.

The joke that worked but you are not so proud that it had?

I do have a penis size joke that I’m not particularly proud of but if I’m doing a certain kind of gig, I will pull it out (the joke).

The comedians that made you want to be a comedian?

Loads – I love Milton Jones, Reeves and Mortimer, Tommy Cooper, Harry Hill, Terry Alderton people who are silly but also have jokes.

The last thing that made you cry with laughter?

I was asked by Amazon to make some short videos to promote their Fire TV stick. One of my ideas involved dressing one of my daughters in a cardboard Fire TV stick costume and my other daughter as a cardboard TV. The idea was that they would run towards each other open armed, in slow motion as romantic music played. They were supposed to meet and hug but they kept missing each other – I found it hilarious and was uncontrollable watching it back – there’s a video here: https://twitter.com/OFalafel/status/813689310050451456
