I am Pippa Evans – a comedian entertainer extravaganza party popper all wrapped up in a beautiful Labrador coating.
My show is about accepting all the wonderful crap this world has to offer and shouting proudly “I LOVE MICK HUCKNALL!”
What is the first thing people notice about you?
That I am tall and full of joy. Or misery. Depending how I am feeling. But generally joy.
6 things you can’t live without during the Fringe?
1) Pie Maker
2) A teapot to steam my voice
3) My husband to fill the teapot with hot water, wipe my tears and say “Yes that’s funny now go to sleep”
4) A bottle of port
6) All my comedy pals to pretend to listen to me moan/celebrate what is happening in my show whilst really thinking about what they are going to say next.
Who are your Edinburgh Fringe Crushes this year?
Ooooooh SO MANY! Holly Burn, Graham Clark and the entire cast of Routines.
Your darkest Fringe secret?
Mervyn Stutter died 15 years ago. I killed him. The guy in the pink suit in an automaton I made from old Irn Bru cans.
