Edinburgh, the Fringe, why bother?
It’s a joy! Lots of artists doing what they love. And haggis!
What have been the nuggets of inspiration behind your show this year?
We have enjoyed a delightful year with an Olivier and a Chortle Award so we’re excited to bring our show back to the Fringe, fresh and full of new musicals! Did someone say Hamilton?
Stand-out Fringe moment to date?
Performing the life of Jim Bowen in the Gilded Balloon. What a pleasure to act out the life of the man who presented Bullseye!
When you wished a hole had opened up in the ground and swallowed you up?
When we realised the Aberdeen Angus burger van had moved. We lived by that van for 4 years! Where do we go to get our arteries coated now?
Your unsung heroes in the industry at current?
The Noise Next Door and Fern Brady. Both joyus , funny peoples!
Three shows you must see this Fringe?
Holly Burn - always fun, always wild
Austentatious - improvised Jane Austen!
Michael Brunström - The Hay Wayne
The one person you’d love to see your show and why?
Michael Ball - so he might come sing with us!
The reason why one should come and see your show?
Because you’ll never see it again, and it’ll be different if you’re there.
The one thing in Edinburgh you must do?
Have a jacket potato from Tempting Tatties.
Ah sorry, you’re dead. But least you can have that dinner party you’ve always wanted. Who are you inviting?
Barbara Dickson
Barbra Streisland
Barbara Windsor
Barbara Cartland
