Meet Paul Dance – Ed Fringe 2015

Self-Summary

My name is Paul Dance and I play a character called Henry von Stifle (Philanthropist, Author, Historian, pimp and amateur vet). The show is about Henry’s perceived lack of artistic respect and his endeavours to change it. To show off all of his talents he is putting on a musical which is based on the true story of his time working in North Korea for MI5. The music he is using for the musical is the soundtrack to the movie ‘Enter The Dragon’.

What’s the first thing people notice about you?

Probably how knackered I look and that I need to get my bloody haircut.

6 things you can’t live without?

Manuka Honey, lemon juice, raw ginger, toilet roll, ketamine and a ruddy good laugh with my chums.

Who are your Edinburgh Fringe Crushes this year?

Ali Brice is in there as are Twisted Loaf. I shared a preview with Chris Stokes and I can’t wait to see the show again in Edinburgh.
Darren Walsh, Tim Shishodia… I’ve also seen a bit of Marny Goddens show and it looks like it’ll be wonderfully silly. If any show is silly I’m pretty sure I’ll like it!

Your darkest secret?

I don’t have Dark Secrets…well, I have a couple but I want people to still talk to me after reading this
