During the Glasgow Short Film Festival and Glasgow Comedy Festival Short Com will be running it’s first ever industry and networking day with the aim of stimulating productivity in comedy filmmaking in Scotland at the Citizen M hotel on March the 14th
Firstly we kick off with back to back screenings of our first ever animation and international programme to tickle your comedy g-spots.
At 3:30pm we have a panel talk with Gregor Sharp from BBC comedy department, Claudia Yusef from the Scottish Talent Film Network and Katie McCullough from Festival Formula. Who will discuss opportunities and potential pathways of climbing the ladder.
At 4:45pm I’ll personally interrogate Stuart Laws from Turtle Canyon, Ben Mallaby, Hot Gulp and Liam Tate from Tea&Cheese about their filmmaking exploits.
Before 6 we depart for the CCA Bar for some drinks and fun.
The best of screening will take place at 9:15 PM. Tickets for these are sold separately via the GSFF. http://www.glasgowfilm.org/…/6989_short_com_with_greg_hemph…
It’s £5 for the day and this will get you a drink at the CCA Bar. If you have a GSFF pass you are welcome to join at no cost. Do email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
Look forward to seeing, meeting, crying and laughing with you.
