Meet Lucie Pohl – Ed Fringe 2015

Self-summary

I am a small, German born-New-York-City-raised certified Germinican Kraut Jew comedian, writer, actor and professional maniac.

My show CRY ME A LIVER is a bizarre collage of New York characters all on the sad hunt for happiness. Expect hashtags, scumbags, doo-rags and a banana phone.

What is the first thing people notice about you?

How irresistible, hilarious, beautiful, smart, talented and smoking hot the girl next to me is.

6 things you can’t live without during the Fringe?

  1. Cheese crepes
  2. Poundland
  3. Sunglasses (to remind me that it’s summer everywhere else in the world)
  4. Water (and by that I mean beer)
  5. Sleep
  6. Dancing

Who are your Edinburgh Fringe Crushes this year?

Ismo Leikola, Dane Baptiste, George Egg, Ruaraidh Murray, Gideon and Hubcap, Helen Duff, Adrienne Truscott

Your darkest Fringe secret?

I have intense conversations with giant posters when I’m alone.
